Tips for use:
1. Hover on a nursing home(top map, yellow dot) or county (bottom map) to view quick statistics.
2.The filters allow you to spcify your area of search. The top filters select from the top nursing home map. The bottom filters select from the bottom county map.
3.The week ending filter shows data for the previous seven days before the date (weekly data) for the top map. Top one filters top map. Bottom map (county data) is cumulative up to the point of the week selected. Bottom slider filters bottom map.
4. Top map for nursing home data is colored by 'Residents Weekly Confirmed COVID-19' variable. Click on the colored square and number of cases to only view the nursing homes with that number of confirmed cases.
5. Bottom map is colored by infection rate percentage.
6. County fatality rate is calculated doing COVID-19 deaths divided by COVID-19 cases. This variable is not weekly and is cumulative up to the point of the week date selected.
County infection rate is calculated doing COVID-19 cases divided by county population times 100 to make it a percent. This variable is not weekly and is cumulative up to the point of the week date selected. This is all time, may not reflect the current state of COVID-19 alone.
